skok unit blacktail sheds
« on: February 01, 2012, 07:07:58 PM »
So today was my dads lucky day. He went for a walk down the road from our house and found a "big" 4pt shed...he gave me a call and told me about it and I figured it would be average at best. While I was on the phone with him he says oh wow I found a second shed about the same size.

Well I was excited to get home and see his finds. And holy.cow what a find. 2 big 4pt sheds in one day.....that match!

Now I hope I can figure out how to post the pics.

They are 17" tall and about 19" wide...with 5 3/4" bases.

Nice shed Brady  BankWalker thats cool your old man found a couple, hope to see the pics.  Ill be out for blacktail all weekend, rather do that than watch the game.
When you see the third, thin the herd.
Right now I'm somewhere picking up sheds.

I need to figure out how to post pictures from my phone.

I rough scored these today (only my 3rd times scoring, using the B&C website). They scored 132 7/8 with 5 1/4 of deductions.

For reference I'm 6' 220lbs and those sheds still look big.

I just saw the above post stating the score. Unless they are bigger than the pic shows you may want to remeasure. Not that it matters at all really. It's a sweet buck and I'd take him.

I measured exactly how the B&C website shows and entered everything into their calculating program...so Idk man.
My spread measurement might be off by 1" in either direction though

The pic is pretty bad. I can try to take a better one.

That's a saweet buck! Love the mass, just my guess but if his forks were a lil deeper he's all a b/c buck, and he may be already  :dunno:
